Well, while I try not to literally hate anyone, as a fan of Les Bleus (the French national team), one player who makes me sick is Harald Schumacher. (You didn't specify that the player had to still be playing.) The reason is his infamous foul against Patrick Battiston.

The whole world saw what was arguably the most grotesque foul ever commited in international soccer- the whole world except the referee, that is. You don't need to understand French to judge for yourself by checking out the footage below:
