The guy that is not playing at the same level he used to , and appears to be padding his stats and isn't helping his team out.

My vote goes to Gary Sheffield.

  1. Kerry Wood of the Homo Chicago Cubs.

  2. Moises Alou just can't stay healthy anymore, and his production isn't going to be that great at his age.

I think Maddux, Johnson and Smoltz all have some good years in them, Maddux in particular looks like he could pitch til he's like 45.

  3. Yep, Sheffield.

    Either him, or Greg Maddux.

  4. Gregg Maddux - he is already a first BALLOT HOF

  5. greg maddux or JULIO FRANCO (if he's still playin i don't know)

  6. Mike Timlin

    Pitcher, Red Sox

  7. maddux could and should pitch as long as he can make it out to the mound. he easily could have won 10 of his games this year but the padres bats suck. my choices are some other hofers in jeff kent and omar vizquel. kent can still hit but his glove and speed are almost totally gone. as for vizquel he can still field but i'm pretty sure he is hitting around or under .200. should sheffield retire... yes but he will not retire at the end of the year because he is about a dozen homers away from 500.

  8. Well yeah, Gary Sheffield definitely...

    - Cliff Floyd

    - Luis Castillo (on DL right now but doesnt really produce when hes in)

    - David Eckstein (just 2 Rbis and Runs in last 10 games)

    - Andruw Jones (granted he is just 31 he is just not good anymore)

    - Paul Konerko (not long until he hangs it up)

***A player that was on this list but his last 2 or 3 months of production has taken him wayyy away from is Jim Edmonds, whose stats with San Diego were...

    Batting .178 with 1 Home Run and 6 RBI's in 26 Games!

But completely turned it around in Chicago with these stats...

    A .278 Batting Average with 12 Home Runs, 12 Doubles and 36 RBI's in 54 Games.

Just thought I would give him some recognition with his amazing turn arounf.

  9. I agree it is Sheffield,

  10. I vote Omar Vizquel.  Maybe he just loves to play or maybe he just wanted the SS record, but he sure hasn't helped anyone win recently.  He's 41 years old and hitting .179.

  11. Tom Glavine.....
