Once the element of surprise is lost and a repeatative pattern of behaviour is the norm, will these subsequent repeatative actions have any impact on the recipient other than be seen as fool,s errands.

In some cases, no.

A person may be completely aware that some action will take place but he cannot predict the exact moment that it will happen.

To me, that specific element of surprise cannot be eliminated.
