I don't care what kind of dance the dancer does, just on average.

This is to settle a dispute between my friend and I, so please answer! I might needs some facts to back up the answer too.

  1. ive played volleyball for four years and ive danced for 12 (tap, jazz, hip-hop, ballet). it honestly depends on the strength of a person, but ive noticed that volleyball players have a higher vertical, while dancers are better if they are throwing a russian/toe touch/any other leap. however, on average id have to say that volleyball players jump higher than dancers (even if only slightly), from comparing my high school teams, club teams, and the dancers from my studio.

  2. I dance and play volleyball , so definetly a dancer ! :)

  3. a dancerrr

  4. volleyball player

  5. Volleyball players do jump as high as they can, but normally from a stand still position, where as certain dancers do it as a leap more then a jump as int he case of ballerinas so can get higher

  6. ..VBPLAYER!!

  7. In my opinion a volleyball player jumps higher. Well it actually depends on how strong the volleyball player is, if they are very weak, they only jump like a foot off the ground, but if their strong, I've seen them jump really high.I dont really have any facts that would prove it, but i have seen them both and i must say that Volleyball would be my answer.

  8. they all jump high

but volleyball players need lots of muscle 2 jump

while dancers stretch and create muscle to make it perfecto

  9. i would say a dancer because they practice jumping high

trust me i used to be one :D
