  1. 1) in March you can expect some rain; but also depends on where you're going.

    2) it depends on a lot of factors: apart from the hotel room, if you want to eat in cheap but good restaurants and having some fun and visiting a museum every day, a tourist generally would need 100 $ per day. But somebody can also psend lot less, it's up to you what you plan to do.

    3) in Italy there isn't a legal age for drinking, but in order to get served alcoholic in pubs, restaurants, etc you must be 16.

    4) a lot :) Both if you mean style in dressing or in living.

  2. 1.- March is a crazy month, it can be sunny and warm or rainy and cold. Check the weather on the internet a week before your departure. It's the best thing to do.

2.-To just eat and have fun, I would say €30/day, more or less.

3.- The legal drinking age is 18, but in general they don't ask you about your age.

4.- Don't know. I've never been to the USA!!! You will see while you're in Italy.

  3. I went to Italy when I was 16, it was a great trip.  We went in the beginning of April.  It was chilly at times, about low-50s.  I recommend jeans, shirts, and sweaters.  I would bring at least $300+ and put it on an American Express travel credit card or in travelers checks.  I'm not positive about the drinking age, all I know is that I could drink when i went, so it must have been 16.

  4. 1. Mainly rainy except parts of northern Italy possibly

    2. For a big trip I'd bring around $500- $600 dollars depending on what the Euro rate is during the month of March.

    3. Technically there isn't one, but you know there is always regulations. You can't just go chugging down a whole bottle of wine when your walking down the street. Trust me I know. You do have to be 16  to get into bars or clubs.

    4. Hmmm teenage girls like yourself in Italy would probably wear. In Southern Italy, usually dress skirts with short sleeve shirts or tanks tops and sometimes dresses because of the mild to hot weather. At least they did when I was growing up there, although I think there are some that wear long designer jeans now a days. In Northern Italy, expect anything from light navy jeans and long sleeve dress shirts to heavy coats and heavy denim jeans.

Not completely different I'd say. Also if your in Southern Italy or even places around Rome expect to see a lot of women in white tanktops. It's a cultural and religious sign that symbolizes the dove or messanger of God.

  5. Hi, I'm Italian

    1. the weather depends from which part of Italy you visit.

North will be colder than South, North could be about 10-20 C, South 15-25 C, but it could be totally different, check on line when you prepare your bag

    2. If you mean for food/drink/shopping, i think 500-750€ are ok, it depends from which clothings you wanna buy, they cost a lot in downtowns

    3. I think it's 16, but ... often they will sell you alcohol without asking your age, so you'll drink everything you want.....

    4. VERY different. You'll understand it if you will stay here a few and will try to understand us. Don't forget, however, that  if you go in North, you can have an image of Italy, that could be totally different from image that you have if you go in South...

  6. it depends on which region you go.In march it is still cold, especially in the north part of it...In the centre, the weather starts getting better, and in the south more.Legal age is about 16, and concerning money you must see what you want to do.Because it depends on where you live, which part of Itlay, where you want to go(museums, entertainment)where you stay(hotels are expensive if not booked through internet). However avoid eating intouristic places near historic centres, because the prices are high.

Way of life, it also depends on the part of Italy, it is different..People pay attention to the elegance, they are very friendly in the south, and everything is not business in the centre and south, while in the north the professional activities take most of the time of the italians..
