Who knows a good recipe for Marzipan?

To prepare Marzipan you use shell almonds and lemon juice in boiling water with sugar stirring it until cooked.

1/4 pound ground blanched almonds

1/4 pound powdered sugar

1 egg white

1/4 tsp. salt



3 cups sugar

1 cup water

4 cups ground blanched almonds

i never heard of marzipan in mexico we have masapan that is made of flour peanuts sugar and water called mazapan candy
