Who knows how much a real estate broker, agent makes

if i work in real estate what if i don't sell a home? will the company that i work for at least pay me minimum wage until i sell.

Minimum wage? Ha! Nope, just straight commission. No sales=no pay. Plus, you have to consider all the costs of doing business. I actually pay a monthly fee just to work in my office and it's not cheap. Most agents starting out elect to split their commission w/ the broker but it takes years to build up a client base and make the big bucks.

No, usually you are on commission.  You only get paid if you sell.
