  1. youre always going to jet jokers on here so take no notice.

Mice are smelly , male s are smellier so that leaves you with the option to get females so that will make it better.

You can always buy air plugs for the room that they are in and use a pet disinfectant when you clean them out, keeping them clean say every two days or so and thats it really.

  2. Pay no mind to the listings from loosers!

We have a nice paper based unscented litter in the US called Carefresh.Perhaps you can get it where you are.It is light and fluffy and is very absorbent.Keep the room that they are in very well ventilated with a fan or two and try to cut down on the humidity(which is high in the summer)with a dehumidifier.Other than this  the only way to  stop the odor is to clean the cage like every 2 days.I wouldn't try to change their diet or anything like that if they are doing well on what they are eating now.I might cautiously give them some parsley if they like it and it doesn't cause diarrhea, to add some chlorophyll to their diet.

  3. I looked after a friends 3 female mice for a couple of months and the only thing I can sujest is frequent cage cleaning. I had 3 rats and a gerbil at the same time and the mice needed cleaning out twice as often but they made up for it by being so sweet and cute.

The mice were pretty easy to keep happy and were friendly and playfull. I still prefered my rats they were my little babies.

  4. Clean them out regularly

  5. cut off their noses.

  6. You have to plug their noses to keep them from smelling.  To keep them from stinking is another question.  Is English your second language?  WRONG!  smell does not mean stink.

  7. I had two males (each in their own cage), and from what I read (I never owned females), one male can smell as much as 6 females. So your idea of going for two female is a good starter if you want to reduce the smell.

That being said, I personally used hemp bedding (LifeMate brand bought at WalMart), cleaned the boys' cages once a week, and while they were in my bedroom, I never smelled much of anything.

Also, many pet stores will suggest using pine or cedar bedding to help against odours: BIG MISTAKE. Pine and cedar beddings can make the little critters very sick.

    So my suggestions are:

    - get females

    - use hemp bedding

    - clean their cage once a week

    - clean the toys that get dirtier more regularly (once every 2 days for my boys' Silent Spinners)

    - make sure there is no leak in the water bottle (that can spoil any bedding and make smells worst)

  8. Cut of their nose lol

  9. From experience, the mice cages do tend to gain a certain 'aroma' after a short amount of time. However, if you use an automatic air freshener it sorts out the problem quickly and efficiently.

  10. Don't give them cheese.  That makes their pee smell.

  11. clean its cage as often as possible
