I didn&#039;t like the chicken recipe at all. I much prefer lamb. But oh so yummy! I always messed up the recipe with the powder stuff, so I use a couple tubs of whole-fat yogurt and it comes out wonderful! Especially next to saffron rice topped with toasted almonds and pine nuts. Yum yum!

Great Jordanian dish. The taste of cooked yogurt makes it unique. I prefer it with Beef or mutton though, because I think these meats absorb the yogurt taste better than the chicken.
