What up basketq,

The previous play before the fight Cheryl Ford of the Shock missed a free throw and Candace Parker grabbed the rebound. Cheryl Ford came in and kind of slapped the ball away from Parker and Parker and Ford had a little stare down (Leslie stepped in to separate them).  You can tell it still kind of got to Candace because she missed two free throws so L.A. got to free throws.  After Marie Ferdinand made the 2nd free throw for the Sparks.

Plenette Pierson of the Shock and Candace Parker got tied up while boxing out- and Pierson and Parker both kind of fell to the floor.  Pierson got up immediately and charged over towards Parker while she was on the floor but getting up- and Candace just took her down and the whole melee broke out near center court.  Pierson started it... although Candace Parker shouldn't have taken the bait.
