There's a lot of irony as a form of black humour where I come from. Some of the most popular lines I've heard are:

Irony is when you get run over by an ambulance.

When a g*y man has hemorrhoids.

When you win the lottery and die the next day.

When you hijack a plane and tell the pilot "Take this plane to Chicago, now!" And he replies "But sir, we're already flying to Chicago."
