Who knows what the name of the most recent Geographic discovery?

Hi,

I was looking on the web for the most recent geographic discovery, i have not yet found any thing, but I am still keeping an eye out. I am honestly doing this for no reason, besides the fact that I just really have an urge to learn more, and get smarter, and I actually got the idea of geography from watching Nim's Island. I decided i wanted to see if there actually were more pieces of land on the earth to discover, my parents told me there were so I looked in to it, and that is why I am typing this. Any ways if you know of the most recent geographic discoveries/ Islands, states, and or any type of water/ lakes, rivers, oceans, please tell me.

im sure they have to discover a lot of stuff still espescially rivers in some countries they have the most beautiful river and you can actually find sharks in those rivers because the river connects to the sea very interesting

Antarctica still has a lot to be discovered, you could check that out.  If you really want to step outside the box there's all kinds of discoveries being made about the surface of Mars too.  They just found perchlorate in the soil.
