hit the iceberg on the 14th but actually sank on the 15th april so depends on what bit you class as being the anniversery...the hitting of the iceberg or the sinking of the ship itself

The 96th anniversary is April 14/15, 2008. It set sail 10 April 1912 and sunk the night of April 14/15, 1912. Officially 15 April 2:20 a.m.

Yep it sank in April 1912.

It began sinking at around 11 PM April 14 and officialy sank at around 1 AM April 15
