Depends what they are answering! You would be hard pushed to explain to someone about totally rewiring a house from scratch in a few short words!

some of the long answers are cut n paste jobs and sometimes u can see that one question has the same 2 answers/ essays... but i think it is good that people give detailed answers, maybe that is what the person asking the question really wants...?

It's a waste of time writing very long answers as I bet no-one reads them - I certainly don't. Many of the long answers are simply cut and paste jobs anyway. It would make more sense just to put in the link.

If it is obvious that an answer has been `pasted` I don`t bother reading it.
