who cares about what group they belong to, I LOVE PRAWNS and shrimps ESPECIALLY SHRIMP TEMPURA, BATTERED AND DEEPFRIED &SERVED WITH SAUCE AND RICE.

My parents fed them to me as a child, but I never cared for them.  I think they are disgusting and nasty as they are nothing more than underwater insects that filter seawater.

It wasn't until I was in high school and took a biology course that I confirmed that they were indeed INSECTS!  They belong to the Arthropod phylum along with spiders, scorpions, millipedes, and more!

Now, as an adult, I won't eat them.  Although, I will devein and cook them for others.  If you like them, good for you.  They do have nutritional content, but to me it's kind of like "Fear Factor" food.  I could eat bull testicles or half-formed duck embryos, but they just gross me out.
