  1. I've had it.  It's just a spiced, pickled, cabbage.  Nothing special.

I didn't much like or dislike it.  Something I might eat about once a year.

  2. I had it in Germany when a bunch of Korean Army wives made some for us, I thought it was very good.

  3. I like it very much, but hope it's not the only thing I'm eating (with rice).

  4. LOVE it! I had it the first time in Korea as a Marine. An old Korean Vet brought us some home made stuff and I've been hooked ever since. Now I guess I'm going to have to stop at the little Korean market on the way home and get me some of theirs. My wife is going to HATE me!

  5. LOVE it.  Yes, I did try it.  :)  It's an acquired taste and some folks never do acquire a liking for it.

  6. I tried it when I was in Korea. There were many varieties, such as cabbage, radish, eggplant, cucumber, bean sprouts, fish, etc. Very interesting spread, and they tasted good. They were served every meal, and we had a good time trying them.

  7. me! me!

i like to eat it with spicy dry noodles....

  8. I looooveeeee kim chi.. Especially when you have it with Bul Kal Bi/Bul Gal Bi, the barbecued beef ribs.. Heaven! I just had some last night and I'm dying for more..

  9. LOVE it! I eat it over hot rice. Use it as a side dish, eat it with bbq meats, stews & etc. Yummy.

  10. It's like hot and spicy sour k***t.  Very flavorful.  I like it from time to time but only in small quantities (like one or two tastes), because it can give some people gas.

  11. About a zillion times... in Korea, China, Singapore even Canada - what a  treat, the perfect meal accompaniment to white rice.
