Who likes Synastry Compatibility ?Do you find it useful ?

I use it a lot (try to), but I still am figuring out how the planets work together in synastry and how one person will react when another's planets are in their house.

I don't really find it useful because it's kinda hard asking people for their time of birth and place of birth. Even though I believe in astrology, I don't want it to ruin my chances and discourage me when there's someone I'm interested in and isn't compatible with me.

Sure I would look up their charts and stuff, but like I said most people I know aren't into this stuff so they don't know their birth times and stuff.

I've been doing synastry with charts (just casually) for years without knowing what it was called until a couple of days ago.  It has only been useful in terms of me going "ah ha."

Sometime I find it useful. However, it takes me a while to figure things out. Each chart is so unique and different.

I do a lot of readings for people in my community; I use both composite and synastry to get a "big picture" view of the relationship.

I sometimes (not very often, but occassionally) use synastry to help me communicate better with someone who's having trouble learning a particular subject. I'm more interested in career development and training as it applies to astrology than the relationship aspect of a chart anyway. So I use the synastry between myself and the person I'm counseling to help identify the best way to communicate with that person...

Sounds odd, but it does work. I've used this method successfully in at least three specific situations.
