Who likes playing Dominoes?

Question

Who taught you how to play and is it part of your culture? My dad taught me and my siblings how to play from when we where small children...I am Jamaican and that is one of Jamaican's favorites past times...

I enjoy it, my husband's cousin taught me...no its not a regular part my culture, but it is fun while you are hanging out with your friends

Me LOVE dominoes. I played a few times. A Black person tought me, so he slammed and stuff. I don't currently have opportunities to play.

I learned when I was young. When it was really hot, we went to a friends basement and played monopoly, sorry, canasta, flinch and dominoes. It kept us from being hot, and then when it cooled down, we hit the baseball field.  Oh to young again, with no cares.

I love to play. I am puerto rican, and that is also one of our past times. I don't know about you...but we get all crazy and get all exited. We play 4 at a time, and two teams. My mother in law is so funny because she obviously cheats. she starts to tell stories like when she was five years old and lived on 3rd street (get it? 5:3 domino!) I'm going to bring the dominoes to thanksgiving dinner so that we can play after wards. Good times.....

Its not part of my culture.  I had a long time family friend teach me how to play dominoes years ago, she then taught my husband how to play.  Now my whole family plays and we taught my best friend to play.. she is from Holland.  So now we are passing the game on.. on an international level too! lol

We just played Saturday night!  We play every New years too... Its fun!

I love dominoes! My stepdad taught me to play when i was 12. I try to play with people I'm good friends with cause i can get a tad bit competitive lol :-)

I just love playing dominoes.  My dad was a domino freak!  We learned how to play as very small children.   Every weekend there was dominoes going on at our house.  lol

My daddy was a big c**p talker, because he knew he was the best player around...and everybody else knew too. *smiles*

Just thinking about it brings a big smile to my face now.

I taught my children,  and my oldest and youngest  STILL  love the game.   It's a cultural thing for us.too ..  ...though I'm not Jamaican,  I guess it's just a part of our African roots from many, many generations back.
