Who likes to surf?

and where do you think is the the best beach to surf?

Best beach? Thats pretty tough. I'd tempted to say my home break, Montauk NY, because when it goes off during hurricane season, its sick. But Sandspit is pretty sick too. I'm gonna go with CA, cause its most consistent. Mostly Santa Barbara.

well i surfed in hawaii and it was pretty fun got to see a quicksilver compitition on north shore ! it was asowome

I love surfing! Ummm- I surf San Onofre and Trestles :] my favorite local surf spots!

I don't like to surf, I love to surf. I have been surfing for 42 years, and I am never going to stop, until the body just won't function. (and even then, I'll pay some grom to push me out through the soup and I'll ride 'em in on my belly).

There are lots of great beaches to surf. A lot of them are way too big for for me anymore. Chris K is right about California, the waves all up and down the CA coast tend to be more consistent than east coast waves. But then again there is Australia, and Tahiti, and South Africa and...........My two favorite breaks are on the east coast, and they are pretty much the spots I usually surf. "They ain't Mavericks or Wiamea" but they keep me happy, and that's all that counts.

i love to surf i think about it all the time unfortunately i live in Springfield,MO so there's no local surf here but ive surfed in maui and it was awesome but id really love to go over to Oahu on the north shore or to the Mavericks in CA just to watch i dont think i could handle that surf

i wouldn't say Costa Rica is a surf spot.

but around where I live in Southern California, I love my local spot Topanga Beach, but also Malibu point 3 (the lagoon), Trestles, El Porto, and Playa Maderas in Nicaragua.

my sister goes to UC santa barbara so whenever I visit her I always have fun at the breaks up there.
