1. I live in Milan. I love it!

  2. I do! I'm Italian, my name's Laura! I'm from Naples, that's not the best place to live in Italy...Florence, or Rome, are my favourite cities...But i really like Verona, and all the little towns in abruzzo, or in Marche, too.

Not Milan, I think it's just...grey! Bologna is a beautiful city, and Pescara, too

  3. I have family that lives in Rome

ne ways the center of the city is Municipio 1 and Im sure its the best spot there.

Milan Is great to if you like fashion.

  4. North is the best, naples is full of trash everywhere...

  5. ciao! this is going to be an amazing experience for you. i recommend florence, as they cater to more international students. rome would also be nice because there is an extraordinary amount of history. milan is good, but it gets very cold and it is grey a lot. have fun!

Nice places? It depends: what are u looking for? A quiet city, a caotic one, a small town in the countryside near the sea?

I suggest u surfing the net and looking at the pix of the most important cities (Milan, Roma, Florence, Venezia, Turin and so on) so u can start imaging where you will go...Then find what u need: a school and friends from there...

If i were u, i would go to Tuscany, near the sea, near the countryside, sorrounded by beautiful landscapes!

  16. i'm italian, but i live in MD from the past May.

Anyway, if you go for study, the typical city for an american student with a huge american community is Florence or Rome.

Actually i know some people studying there, it depends what you're going to study, but they're happy to be there, that's for the city itself, for the style of life, the food and everything...

The true university city in Italy is Bologna (my birth city), but it gather students mostly from Europe as Spain, France and almost every European country in general.

then, it's up to you, find the best courses and take your spot.

Florence, anyway, has many different features for students and it's more quiet instead of Bologna.

Rome actually has a really big community and many different places as pubs and clubs where americans meet each other...

    have a nice stay :)
