Yes I live in Australia on The Gold Coast in Queensland. We have a beautiful  sunny winters morning . The roads are busy and I've been down the beach. Lot's happening in Surfers Paradise this morning . My favourite place to travel in Australia is by Campervan from Darwin through the Kimberlies to Broome. It's a Stark contrast to The Gold Coast . Both places are wonderful. The Kimberlies are a very unique area of the world. My favourite thing about Australia is the weather and the freedom

Brisbane, but favourite city is Sydney, Melbourne is good for a crazy shopping spree too, if I could afford it, I would travel to the north, Darwin for a look, or north Queensland where there are big beaches with hardly any people on them.  My favourite thing about being Australian is none of us seem to take ourselves too seriously, a laid back place to live, nice climate, good food.

I am torn between Sydney and Melbourne. Both are equal in my book as they are vastly different. As I am the bush and the beaches. Lets face it we have the best of everything.

That fact that we live in a great country with a great lifestyle and have more freedom than a good deal of other countries. You can be who you are here and have a different opinion from the next person.

i live in australia, i live in Melbourne now but i grew up in Perth.

Its so hard to pick which is the best place to travel because the country is so big it depends what you like to do

shopping is fantastic in melbourne and there are heaps of arty things happening and so many different things to see

Western Australia is great it has some of the most beautiful and best surfing beaches in the world, esperence is a beautiful place the sand is so fine it squeeks when you walk on it not to mention pure white

queensland has all the theme parks, another place with fabulous beaches and a beautiful rainforest not to mention diving in the great barrier reef is unforgettable

The nothen territiory is amazing when it rains its like having a shower there arn't many people though but its such a beautiful place, its got Kakadu national park which is great if you love treaking and swimming in billabongs

New south wales and sydney are amazing, sydney cove is beautiful it takes your breath away and you can go skiing i th mountains there is so much to do

but my favorite thing about being australian is that people are so layed back relaxed and friendly, we love meeting new people and getting together

we also love people from all other cultures and places in the world..its a great place i love living there

Whats great about being Aussie is the awesome public health care, the schooling, our political system and the fact that the sun is shining in winter!

1) Rockingham (about 40minutes south of PerthWA)

2) Over to Rottnest Island-off the West coast...they have awsome animals.

3) Having instant access to some of the worlds most amazing beaches

I live in Perth (work about 500km north of Kalgoorlie).

My favourite place to travel is Tasmania, I'm hanging out for a massive dose of bush walking soon.

My favourite thing about being Australian is my job... I work for a mining company and drive around groups of Aboriginal people and the odd anthropologist or archaeologist.  I get to learn about Aboriginal culture, boy is it complex, and eat bush tucker occassionally.  I had honey ants last week.

i live in Bendigo. it has about 110,000 and is like 2 hours from Melbourne.

i like travelling to South Australia, because some of it is gorgeous, most of my family lives there..

i intend to travel to Queensland and Tasmania too one day, but haven't got round to it yet.

I like the fact that we aren't ruled by any kind of tyrant or fascist regime. Freedom. Thanks to the people who fought in the wars (and saved us from being overrun by the Japanese.)

Unfortunately there are bad things, like our increasing crime rates, and everything being so americanized, most of our tv shows come from the U.S. and we are continually bombarded with all their celebrity garbage.. It's annoying.
