Who lives or has lived in the state of Missouri?

I'm considering moving out of state, and trying to decide what state I would like to move to. I have a few I'm considering and one is Missouri.

I'm looking for those that live or have lived in the state of Missouri and would like your oppinion of it. And what the average winters and summers are like. What you like or dislike about the state.

I have friends there and they like it.

It is really hot and humid.  All year round.  There are big bugs everywhere and wearing special moisture absorbing socks all day & night is a MUST.   Typical weekend pass times include noodlin', bowlin', eatin', drinkin', and honky-tonkin'.
