i currently have sherrill and wilson. it seems like every time i think about putting wilson into my lineup the giants can't buy a win and his opportunities vanish. torres seems to have nailed down the job for milwaukee. supposedly when gagne returns he will setup with torres still closing. torres is a free agent in my head to head league and i am thinking about picking him up and dropping wilson. i could use some advice. thanks

  1. I wouldn't base it on teams.  There have been plenty of closers to rack up saves even on crappy teams!  For instance, Chad Cordero had 37 saves (10th most in the league) for the crappy Nationals team.  Wilson is younger and has a firm grip on the closer role.  His ERA and WHIP might not look so hot but he does strike guys out which is helpful.  Torres is much older but looked good so far for Milwaukee.  He can do the job but the Brewers will probably stick Gange back in there when he's "healthy".  So I would stick with the guy who I knew for sure was going to close all year, and that is Wilson.

  2. Closers must be drafted based on how good their team is.

Milwaukee is better than SF so this is an easy one.
