Who loves HOMESCHOOLING?

I don't know about you guys, but i LOVE IT! Why do you like it SO much? All answers are greatly appreciated! Thank you and God bless you all!

My family loved it!!  We had bonding opportunities that we never would have had in the public school system.  We had so much more social interaction with people and so much more experiences dealing with real life situations.

I would have loved it. I hated school so much i finally quit. I really don't see why we can learn on our own anyway. I bet our country would be better off. Tons of tax money would be saved and we have TVs. I learnt more from the History channel than school. I can see taking classes, but voluntary.

Me! I love it!

Why? cuz it means I don't have to go away to the city, to boarding school; it means I can grow up with my Mum and Dad, brothers and sisters; it means I can have a proper life; but most of all it means I can be 15 and studying the sort of rigorous and challenging education that used to be common place in schools but nowadays is only taught at University level.

(One of my mates sent me a copy of a school exam paper taken by 13 year olds in 1850. If only schools still taught to that level and depth and with equal rigour today, then I wouldn't mind going to school. I'd have my bags packed and be on the very next 'plane to Sydney, lol! Until then I'll stay at home where I can ensure I reach those same rigorous standards in my own education)

I'm homeschooled, and I totally love it. Get to sleep in, and finish early, AND i get to go on a 5 week vacation next month because i'm ahead.

I love homeschooling because I decide what I do everyday and when to do it. I think it teaches self-discipline if you don't have someone constantly telling you what to do, but sometimes this works in the opposite direction.

I enjoy having the freedom to learn as much as I want!!!

Cause you dont have to wake up early! =]

And you dont have to do school for a full 7-8 hours like at public school. You can be done in just an hour or two and then have the rest of the day to do whatever you want!

I'm not yet into homeschooling my kids. I'm taking time to do some research, prepare myself, finish my own studies and read about homeschooling methods. I plan to homeschool my two kids beginning next September.

I'm scared and worried, but I think it will be a good experience. What I anticipate that we will love about it is the freedom of choosing books, subjects and schedules, being together and sharing ideas, feelings and experiences with my kids.

~We could pick our own textbooks

~The kids were allowed a say in what books/subjects to study

There really is not one thing I dislike about homeschooling.  In fact, now that I am in college I sometimes wish I could homeschool to get my degree!

i dont get on with school at all

cant concentrated just muck about and anoyin teachers

because i got a mild case of ADHD  

and the past 2 weeks if been of school on study leave

and bin studding at home

i have learnt in 2 weeks an entire years worth of work for three different subject if my parents would let me homschool i would love it its great can jst lie in bed and read n ####

dont hve to worry bout what you look like or anyfink :)

I LOVE IT! its awesome. I LOVE it because I have free time to do what I like to do! It is sooo cool! I get to be home with my family and its just great!

i love it...i go to school 3 days a week and not 5 days..i am in college but i have a dr.s note saying that i can't go 5 days because of to much pressure, burn-out..crash..so now 3 days and then i just sleep in and then study when i get ready to..
