Who loves Vegemite??

Who here loves Vegemite? Any American's tried our brilliant Aussie creation?

If so... what do you think of it??

I've never thought of vegemite as salty!! Bitter maybe.

You gotta put it on light people......very light, just a hint....mmm mmm mmmm its yummy!

I looooove vegemite. I took some to the USA with me a few years ago and they couldn't stand it! You know why? Cause they get a spoonfull and put it in thier mouths. Nooooo! thats not how you do it! Its best spread on bread with butter, or on crackers with cheese. Vegemite on jatz is the best thing when you're not feeling to well

On the first try I thought it was bad. But after a few more tries I started to love the stuff. Kind of like scotch. It takes getting used to.

Australians also love to trick foreigners as a joke by putting it on toast way to thick. If you spread it very very lightly for someone's first try they may like it. It would also help not serving it for breakfast to someone who is expecting something sweet/fruity. Getting something very salty when you are expecting something sweet can create a very bad first impression.

How would you like it if I gave you milk when you thought you were getting orange juice?

That being said I love Vegemite! I also like Marmite and Promite and I don't subscribe to the belief that you should pick only one brand to favor as most Australians talk trash about the other brands. They all taste of salty yeast...

I like it but not loving the taste.

I just put it on toast as it gives you vitamin B's which is really good for you. I hope any Americans can have a taste when they are here in Australia.

I love Vegemite. But then, I'm Australian so maybe it doesn't count ;-)
