  1. They are the best - been on 2 with my kids, going again this year.

  2. after watching titanic i will NEVER go on a cruise!

  3. I'm not really interested in cruise ships. You stay on a boat for a long time. I don't find it appealing.

  4. CRUISES ARE THE BEST!!!

    end of story.

  5. A cruise ship is a floating paradise.....no matter your destination.  With the newly built ones, like Royal Carribean's Liberty of the Seas, you can hold your organization's convention right on board.  They are building cruise ships bigger and more lavish than ever before.

If you've never traveled by cruise ship, you should definitely jump at the chance for the trip of a lifetime.  Find a good travel agent who can arrange all the minute details so all you'll have to do is show up.

I highly recommend the Royal Caribbean cruise line.

  6. I love cruising and its generally excelent vaction for your money. Nowadays you can choice the right ship among hundreds and if you find the right one youre in heaven but if your expectations is to high you can be in h**l as well. But generally speaking cruising is fun and I want to go on more! Johan.

  7. I hated the idea of going on one but did for an anniversary gift. been on five now and will go again.

  8. I'm going on my first cruise this year - 2008!! I cannot wait and I know it will be so much fun. I'm going on the Carnival cruise line :)

  9. Bad value, they charge for everything. You have to tip every tom, d**k and harry on the boat!! You have to tip even if you get lousy service.

All inclusive resort is much better. Everything is included, even tips! You are not a prisoner aboard the money sucking boat.

  10. I went on my first cruise last year with ocean village it was absolutely first class, its for people who don't do cruises, you visit a different port everyday, you get up when you want ,eat when you want, and wear what you want,it cruised round Barbados.it was that impressive iv booked for Jamaica in a few weeks time,I would thoroughly rec commend it,if you like adventure then go on a cruise

  11. hello,

if you want read something about cruise

i just come accross this blog which may help you

  12. Cruising is no doubt the best value for your money.   Everything is included, food, some drink, night club shows and dancing, casinos, bingo, guest speakers sometimes, exercise rooms, free lessons, cabin service,  games and you mameet people and make friends.  You can relax or stay busy on a cruise ship.

Best of all you wake up in a different island or country!

  13. Cruising is great! Take Hawaii for example. Assuming you want to visit the different islands, if you stay in hotels, that means packing and unpacking (or at least changing hotels) several times. On a cruise, all the ports are included, and you never have to change rooms! The downside is you don't get to spend as much time in each port, but this can be good if you want to visit a few places in a short period of time.

Of course, all the food and entertainment just adds to the greatness of cruising! I love being catered to for a week or so out the year. And since it's the same people all week, you really get to know the staff, unlike on land (for the most part).

Also, just because I'm on a "boat" doesn't mean there's nothing to do. I'd guess that cruise ships have just as much, if not more, than any land-based hotel. If I want to see a show for free, I can do that. If I want to gamble, that's available too. Shopping is there, as is all the food you can eat! I can go to the spa, to the pools, the clubs, etc. There's so much to do!

Also, I wouldn't compare Titanic to today's cruise ships. Yes, that ship did sink, but so did many others around that time that are hardly even mentioned! Think about how technology has advanced since then. The odds that anything major, including fires, sinking, etc. happens on your cruise is pretty slim. Think about all the cruises that are taking place at any given moment in the world, then think about all the incidents you hear about in a year. Probably only a handful, if that. Cruising is very safe. To say cruising = risking your life on another Titanic is silly. Getting in your car is dangerous too...

Anyway, I love cruising and will probably be doing it for the rest of my life! Yes, I do travel in other ways too, but cruising is by far my favorite means of vacationing.

  14. I'm not a fan, I don't like the idea of being confined to a ship for days or longer.  I know some cruise ships are very large and some cruises have stops where you can go on land. But I like being able to come and go as I please.

  15. I have been on one.  I went on one last month, and I am ready to do another one.

  16. I agree. Who doesn't want to be waited on the way they do on a cruise. Room service, good food, good entertainment, lots of beautiful water more food.

  17. I like cruises they're fun and enjoyable but they don't beat traveling to another country and spending a few days there.
