  1. A lot of 'East Indians' and 'East Europeans' do.

  2. I live in Ireland, mainly because i was born here. Its a good place to live despite the weather, right now its about 1 degree celsius, icy bitter cold winds and expecting snow... stay in Florida and go to Universal Studios Islands of Adventure...

  3. I love irish people,the craic,the atmosphere,the pride,the weather(i know,but florida's too hot), the accent,the G.A.A, the traditions,the language,the full irish on a sunday morning and the cup of tea

  4. 6 deg C. & it's great. Ireland is a great place to live, I think all above have covered what makes us stay here.

Hay Houseofunksville what time's breakfast at :-)))

  5. hii!!!! i live in dublin, ireland...!

i love ireland its just pure amazement really.....florida is animal too though!!! i was there a few months ago......and let me tell you wowzers!!!!!

  6. Green Grass

    Good Milk

    Lack of melanoma

    Great lamb & beef

    Spuds

    The People

    The Beer

The singalong in the pub 3 hours after closing time on Saturday nights

The women - especally the women - they look human, not mahogany couloured. (Well, most of them!)

  7. Hiya, I have been to Florida lots of times and it is great, especially enjoyed the keys.  However, I have lived in Ireland all my life and am very happy here.

I love the seasons, even though it can mean some miserable weather, the changes are interesting.

I love the way people talk to you anywhere and everywhere, like in a queue for a bus, in a shop (store) in a doctor's waiting room, etc.

I like the way our country is laid out.  In Florida, I felt very dependant on being able to drive, especially in the keys, even though I had friends there.  Where I live is beside the sea and near lots of parks and walking is a big thing so I can go out for a walk any time, day or night.  There are also mountains (high hills really) within an hour's drive for me and I love to go hill walking.

We generally have smaller neighbourhood areas even in the city and although I live just outside Dublin city, it does not feel like living in a big city.

Just thought of adding that we have no life threatening wildlife here - no snakes, no spiders that bite badly, no bears, no wildcats, no sharks except basking sharks which only eat plankton and only little jellyfish! I'm just back from Australia and realise what a benefit this is!!

I keep thinking of more reasons! I love our sense of humour, particularly us Dubs (Dubliners).

Chatting with friends in a pub. Of course, the guinness is the best here also!

Try to listen to "Song for Ireland" sung by various people but best by Mary Black.  It sort of epitomises the whole country for me.

    Hope this answer helps.

  8. I'm from Ireland and traveled to Florida, don't think I could ever live there, the weather is nice but bar that... I kinda like Irish weather, nothing nicer than a brisk walk by the sea in Connemara in February I love the rain and the nice bright cold days, Ireland has a great sense of community and there is a lot of good music and culture here. The scenery is fantastic and the people are great, good craic. I don't know if I could ever feel really at home anywhere else.
