Question:

Who made/didn't make God?

I've heard this phrase a million times, from a million different people. My question, who made the universe, was it always here? If it was, then why couldn't God have. Just b/c you can see it, doesn't mean we shouldn't put it to the same test.

"In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God" The Bible

My real question is:

If you believe in the existance of extraterestrial life, you know that math is the universal language by which we must communicate, b/c it means the same thing everywhere. 1+1 will be 2 no matter where you go in the universe or throughout time. This is a universal truth. Perhaps, God is nothing more than the absolute universal truth. "The word was God!" This would be persistant throughout time, even before the big bang! One tiny grain of sand, plus one tiny grain of sand, equals two tiny grains of sand.

  1. I think you're on to something.  Numbers don't exist; they only represent quantities of things that do exist.

  2. Or maybe Zeus is the universal truth.

  3. Who made God?

No one did.  He has always existed.  Eternal is just that, eternal... with no beginning nor end.

Who didn't make God, in that case?

No one.  That "who" doesn't exist.  God has always existed.

So did your question even consider that third option, that God has always existed?

Also I'm not sure what you are trying to argue with that statement there.  It doesn't make sense to me.

  4. firstly, god was there from the beginning, how ever hard it is to believe, no one evvvvver created god, he was there from the beginning and will remain there, he created the whole universe by himself within 7 days !!!

each day with something different like the land on one day, the sky another etc.

    hope you understand

    x*x

  5. There was no big bang. 0 + 0 = 0 this will never change.

God who is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, he has no beginning and he has no end, created heaven and earth.

That means the earth and the universe are his creation. As you can see we are the oasis is space, we are the only blue planet as far as man's eye (even aided with the best telescopes in space) can see.

God created earth first and then the universe.

  6. If everything requires an eternal maker, then that eternal maker requires *another* eternal maker. And, so on, into an infinity of fictional eternal makers. So, that argument always fails.

That leaves us with the fact that all things DON'T require an eternal maker, and, since science well explains how it all works, an eternal deity not only doesn't help explain a thing, it actually makes explaining the Universe worse.

"I have no need of that hypothesis, sir!".

  7. Almighty Creator God is the Self-Existent One, and He created the Universe.

  8. The Flying Spaghetti Monster created the earth, he as always existed, and you fail at life.

oh and by the way, 1+1 in chemistry is NOT always 2

  9. That sounds like Darwinism.

  10. God is the beginning of everything. The "Word" is Jesus Christ.
