Who makes more money a R.N or a Physical Therapist?

I am currently in the healthcare field and would like to further my education. I am interested in going to school to be either a R.N or P.T. Which one makes more money?

  1. As far as a national average...PTs make about $10,000 more than RNs...but as nurses continue their education, their potential salary reaches that of the potential salary of a PT top tier salary.

    It's possible for both of these professions to top 6 figures with experience in management and at least a masters or doctorate degree level.

I am not sure how much a PT makes, but an RN has lots of potential to further her career by getting more education or going into administration.  you should do an internet search on salaries and  be sure to check out higher level nursing degrees.  the lowest is the 2 yr RN from a community college, a bachelors or masters will get you higher pay. RN also has a lot of different avenues to explore if you dont like floor work in a hospital
