The base pay of FBI is higher, but there are probably more opportunities for overtime as a firefighter.

Same with police.. the base pay is usually slightly higher than a firefighter, but police tend to have overtime opportunities also. However, the firefighter schedule that allows room for part time employment. Most firefighters work one day on, then two days off.

FBI usually requires more training before becoming a member of FBI.

Firefighters is not as difficult (sometimes it is) and sometimes it can be voluntary even. FBI is usually not voluntary.
