Who makes the best bike carriers?

Depends on what kind of rack you're looking for.  

For a trunk rack, I'd pick the Saris Bones.

For a hitch rack, the Thule T2 (fka Sportworks) and the Yakima (similar, but I can't recall the name of it right now) are the best.  Saris has one, too, but the other two are much nicer.  Even though I own and prefer the T2 rack, I might choose the Yakima model next time because Thule absolutely SUCKS when it comes to warranty and parts....ask a bike shop and they'll agree!  

For roof racks....go Yakima, hands down.
