Who makes the best running shoe?

i am big track and field athlete and i see millions of people with very well known brands like nike, addidas, and new balance, and even saucony. i have an extremely abnormaly hi arch foot which helps me sprint and have done a lot of research on finding the right fit and highest quality shoe. it has turned out the best one seemed to end up to be a not so popular company mizuno. but they are still very expensive. is this company mizuno known to be one of the better if not best running companies because they seem to fit my high arch foot better then anything else? but if they are how come they are not popular like new balance and nike which seems like cheap sneakers made out of plastic then advertised well for style? and why do they only sell in the high quality enormous sports stores? or stores run by a running club that does their research?

Mizuno's don't have the marketing presence in the US the other companies have.  They are quality shoes.  They tend to be in big stores like Sports Authority because these stores cater a lot of times to high school athletes.  They are bought by the small botique running stores because these stores cater to the weekend warrior crowd who demand high quality footwear.

just because some shoes are more popular doesn't mean they're better.  most shoes are popular because they are cheap.  mizuno is a common brand and if that's what works best for you then use them.  i personally like newton running shoes the best.

It really depends on the person. So Asics are the best.

It all depends on your foot and the shoe. Go to a local running shoe store and have them fit you there, they will most likely know what they are talking about.

personally, i love asics. some of my team mates just get mizuno all the time because it's comfortable for them.
