  1. It all depends on your foot.  I would highly recommend going to a running specialty store where they will look at your old running shoes and observe your gait.  This is how I learned that I had low arches and that I pronate a bit when I walk/run.  So for me, Mizuno is the best.  (The alleviated the awful case of plantar fasciitis I had developed from my old shoes.)  Just buying based upon brand popularity could be the wrong choice for your own unique foot mechanics.

  2. Running Shoes! what a topic.

Go to a RUNNING store. (not a sports store) a running store.

tell them you need new running shoes.

they should look at the way you walk/run and recomend a couple pairs. then you should try them on and see how they all feel. running shoes shouldn't have to be broken in. they should feel right as soon as you put them on.

Personally I won't run in anything but Brooks. They are relativaly cheap and they last a long time.

A lot of people like asics  though.

Nike and adidas aren't running companies (like asics and brooks etc. ) so i personally dont think they are very good.

but if they work for you go ahead.

    Good luck! Hope I helped

  3. I think it is entirely dependant on your foot and body type. Nike running shoes are the only ones that have the arch in the proper place for me so the post that says they suck, its c**p. No matter how many other shoes i try on they are the only ones that are comfortable. I recommend going to the store and trying some on, and run in them when you try them on, jump up and down, etc... Find the brand that fits you best. Stick with it.

  4. I like Nike, so naturally I would recommend them to you.

but it doesn't matter what I like, it matters what fits your foot the best. If you have a pair, and you haven't had any injuries with them, and they are comfortable, stick with that brand.

Try and find a store that specializes in running, they will be able to watch how you walk and try and pick out a good shoe for you.

  5. well there are many good shoe makers out there.   my top three are

    3.Saucony

    2.New Balance

    1.Asics

these are all great high quality shoes, their for sure the best shoes out there   if anyone says nike dont take it nike sucks.
