Who makes the fastest shifter kart engines?

I haven't seen a lot of shifter karts, so I don't know that much about them.  But I've seen them with motorcycle engines.  Used sportbike engines should be common and fairly cheap since sportbikes crash a lot.  You could get a Hayabusa engine, that is, what, 160 hp?  That ought to be enough, don't you think?  8^)
