  1. government contractors.

i love mres, they come with a cool heating packet that you can turn into a low powered bomb if you don't use it to heat the food.

  2. Soylent Green. It's made of liberals.

Edit: Seriously? Thumbs down on a joke? Grow a sense of humor people!

  3. The lowest bidder.  Makes you feel good about eating them, doesn't it?

    .

  4. I don't understand how this is a religion question.

  5. There's lots of places that make them, my grandmother used to work at one in Massachusetts.

MRE's aren't bad, you just have to know what to trade.  plus they're great for camping if you can't have a fire.

below is one place that makes them.

  6. The last I saw was a company based out of Dallas Texas, but that was years ago before I left the army.

MRE's are pretty d**n good after a hard day in field. Try doing a 12 mile road march with full gear and your belly is empty. The last thing you are thinking about is where they are made.

I grant you, though, the omlete ones they had about 10-15 years ago were pretty disgusting. I was the only person in the world that loved the ham slice. Folks used to just give me theirs--I didn't even have to trade.

  7. probably ronald mcdonald's retarded cousin- have you ever freaking seen one of those things?

  8. I know the devil made the tuna and noodles one.  I hate that one.

The beef franks kick ***!  People who refer to them as "The Fingers of Death," just don't know what's good.

  9. My husband said that it wasn't any "God" that made the beefymac ones.

  10. They were developed by the DOD, but are actually manufactured by contractors...whoever bids the lowest.

Recently, the Govt has also had to purchase special meals for Jewish and Muslim soldiers.

My Own Meals, Inc is one company, and J&M Company is the other as of 2005.

  11. God?

  12. Good question.  I suppose the same companies that make frozen TV dinners.  :-(
