  1. Bankrupcty attorneys

    Divorce attorneys

    Oil companies

    Finance companies

Car dealers on economy or fuel efficient cars

  2. speculators.

  3. really, nobody makes "the most money" -- instead businesses struggle and the people are hurt, by either recession or inflation.  Jobs go away, prices become unmanageable, and people who have a little money cannot realize a real after-tax and after-inflation return on their investments.  It keeps the poor poor.

At the moment, they tell us we are not in recession, but we don't believe that for a minute.  Regardless, the Fed has reduced interest rates several times this year, triggering rampant inflation, and we can expect that the near future will see The Fed  tighten money; we're on a merry-go-round.

That will be recessionary, and because of national debt rising beyond salvation, the recession will become depression extending around the world.

And if somehow we think we've discovered some culprit other than government and the politicians, there's little one might do about it, so why spin the wheels?

  4. Gas Owners probably

    OPEC!!!

I cant say investors , due to violent market conditions

  5. these who are counterintuitive to the trends

  6. One sector of the legal community has been affected, real estate lawyers.  The litigation and corporate sectors are doing quite well.  As are the bankruptcy attorneys.

The oil companies, and, surprisingly, the US economy, are doing quite well too.  Given that the US has a tremendous trade deficit with China, and that, the US controls a large portion of the world's oil reserves, vis a vis Saudi Arabia, Iraq, & Afganistan (pipeline), the subsequent sale of oil to China, and India to a lesser degree, should help to offset this imbalance (China must pay a considerable amount for oil now to US associates).   (Who then reinvest such monies into the US economy.)  And US goods, due to the weak dollar, are very attractive throughout the world and now may be purchased for a reasonable amount.  Lots of them.  All in all, the US should exit from this "recession" in rather good shape.

  7. investors
