Who may vote for President of the United States?

The United States has a number of non-state territories, in addition to the District of Columbia, where citizens of that territory are also citizens of the USA. Some that come to mind are Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, American Samoa and Guam. Are citizens of these (and other) territories eligible to vote in elections for President of the United States?

  1. Residents do not vote, undocumented immigrants do not vote, and just some citizens vote.


  2. voters with residency in the united states can vote for vice president, president, senator, and representative.

    those who are living in washington dc can vote for vice president, president, and representative.

    those who are living in territories and commonwealths can only vote in races for representative/commissioner.

    if you were born outside the us, but have parents in the states, then you can vote in presidential races "enfranchisement".

  3. As long at you are a citizen of the United States of America and at least 18 years old, you are eligible to vote.

  4. No, we can not vote for president of the United States because we are still a modern day colony. We can only vote if we move to main land United States. Que viva la P.I.P.
