Have lots of wood but no oil well. Would like to build a steam powered 5000-10,000 watt generator. Sure it's a nutty idea...or is it???

Nutty?? Not at all. what you are thinking is being turned into realityall over the world.

You need 10KW of power. to generate 10KW you require 150 Kgs of steam per hour at 10 bar/200C. Our Boiler range starts at 300 Kgs per hour and you can generate about 25KW of power.
