He had great vision and was a great promoter when he own ECW but unfortunately he had bad business sense and that was basically the downfall of ECW.  If he could have just brought someone in to do the business side ( money profit  loss) into the company and he did all the creative side then I truly believe ECW would be were TNA is if not more competitive to the WWE.  He sold ECW to Vince Mcmahon to save his company but you know vince can't have any product better than his own and that why When he brought WCW he did not use that brand as a separate brand but a faction of his brand with different names.

Yeah he was a good storyline writer.But blame Stephanie McMahon why Paul Heyman left cause she got him fired him.

I miss him, he was a great manager in WCW and later became the creative and guiding force of ECW. He has great ideas and is a great booker. Unfortunately, he is not the world's greatest accountant. WWF could have just simply paid off ECW's Bills and handled the logistics and let Heyman create storylines and be the Head Booker. We would have had a much better version and truer version of Extreme Championship Wrestling than we have on Tuesday Nights on the Sci Fi Channel. The name of the program should be changed to WWE Tuesday Night, because it is a WWE Show and not Extreme Championship Wrestling.
