they used to be great matches, with no prisoners taken, bremner, hunter on one side, and the finesse of BUCHAN and McILROY on the other.

so my question is, does anyone know any russian millionaires that want to bring leeds back to the premiership.

  1. Depends whether you are a scum fan or not, I suppose.

  2. Fantastic games.  Wonderful aggressive atmosphere.

I hope they eventualy return to where they belong.........in the Premiership.

  3. well in all fairness they wudnt hav to be millionaires to buy leeds would they??but i know what you mean those matches were great, it was football at its best attack attack and more attacking play not like miserble old chelsea who kills the games....

  4. We'll be back!

  5. The real war of the roses would be Blackburn vs Leeds, red rose on one badge, white rose on the other.

  6. For the first (and possibly the last) time I completely agree with you. I am old enough to remember Keegan and Bremner knocking lumps out of each other and both being sent off. There were great matches between Leeds and Man Utd but the two top teams for a long time were Leeds and Liverpool.

  7. i personally think they have replaced the leeds animosity with a hatred for the arsenal....cmon the gooners lol

  8. I've always enjoyed the Leeds Man Utd rivalry...... They should be back in the Premiership. The hatred seems a lot more 'real' than with us.

  9. I am a fan of LEEDS since the days they were in the Premier league and so YES I MISS LEEDS DESPERATELY!!!

  10. Mighty Leeds not Dirty Leeds, we'll be back someday and hopefully Man U will still be a force in the premiership. there is not enough passion in football today the dollar is king or the rouble who ever pays your wages, in those days of Bremner ,Hunter ,Big Jack, Paul Reeney ,Sprake they all played with pride and never gave up ,what would their wages be today i wonder . Marching on together, come on Leeds, good luck to both teams this season.

  11. yes, i miss it, i hope leeds come back to the prem so we can beat them again lol

  13. I would know, as I have reffed enough of them! They are fiesty and heated mainly but I can assure you they are nothing compared to the Mersyside Derby! The thoughts of that one!
