Who misses the old ecw?

I totally miss the old ecw there is nothing extreme about it these days wwe ruined ecw if you ask me. I mean wheres the flaming tables?? and the barbed wire matches??? its just dumb now they should call it ecwwe

Yes, but I also miss the old NWA (I mean the ORIGINAL NWA), the AWA, WCCW, etc.

I agree with you. ECW hasn't lived up to its name in such a long time. Although it getting better, I think that there should be more extreme rules matches. Currently there are only extreme rules match every now and then

It is better and more Extreme. I mean they shouldn't call it Extreme Championship Wrestling. They should call it Boring Championship Wrestling

i miss having a promotion that is 4 adults. TVPG wrestling is ok at times but i just dont like it. the sci fi ecw is a joke n i wont watch it. why cant TNA do anything? they are sooooo boring

That period of time for the company was actually short-lived, since wrestlers were getting injured and actually making the decision easy to jump ship once a contract was available with a major company here or overseas. It did push WCW and WWE into more "hardcore" programming, but without sacrificing the talent like Paul E. did when outrageous gimmicks championed the shows.
