Who monitors the potency of prescription drugs?

how do you know example 15mg of morphine 90 tablets

how do you know all 90 tablets are 15mg can the big drug

companies be ripping us off without are knowing?who monitors there potency in each pill???

Isn't that a function of the FDA ?

I don't think there's any such oversight.  What you're describing would be such a violation of trust that some people would be going to jail and the company responsible might be shut down depending on the circumstances.  Anyone with say a typical university lab can test the dosage, so I find the whole idea pretty unlikely.
