  1. Not a lot, but there are a whole lot of trees. An individual tree might consumes up to 48 pounds of CO2 / year. There seems to be some confusion on this point though as there are other references that cite much lower numbers.

  2. trees dont take that much out the air but algea does. and actuly trees just store the co2.
