Assumption: "who knows the country named jordan?"  I do not know the country named jordan.  I have heard of a country named Jordan which was created by the international community as a home for Palistenians around 1947-48.  It was named (as am I) for the river Jordan which runs on its borders.

I know of a country called Kingdom of Jordan. Their king is half British, & their queen is very beautiful. Her name is Rania, & she had been in Opera Winfrey's show several times.
