Who of the following QBs should I pick as my backup QB?

It's a league where we play 2 QBs regularly. I have Brees and Rivers as my starting QBs, but I need one as a backup for insurace.

  1. Young for sure out of those guys.

    You want a "deep" sleeper? Try JT OSullivan. QBs in Mike Martz pass happy offenses tend to fair well (although thier passing game has looked like h**l in the preseason , i hear).

    EDIT: Super deep sleeper, Tavaris. Hes got a great oline and some excellent (but not wellknown) recievers, and a more than respectable run game. Its your 3rd QB. you got nothing to lose.

  3. out of all the quarterbacks you listed, heres who you should pickup.

    Matt Ryan

    Tarvaris Jackson

    JaMarcus Russell

    Alex Smith

    Matt Leinert

    Brady Quinn

    the top 5 are all starters and the bottom 2 are backups. Vince Young is the best choice because its only his 3rd year he can bounce back from one bad season matt ryan is second because he is a very good QB and his situation is similer to Youngs rookie year and Rothlisbergers and both did well. Jackson is third because between him and Russell, he has the better team. Russell is 4th mainly because he starts and is bad but not awful. Smith is 5th because he starts but he sucks. Matt is 6th because he is a backup but decent. and finally Quinn is lasb because he has little expiriance and is also a backup. i hope this helped.

  4. get kurt warner if u can.. leinart isnt even startin. and last year warner thru like 27 tds.. i just picked him up myself

  5. You already have two decent QB's so go with Matt Ryan who has the most potential later in the season.  Brady Quinn and Matt Leinart are worthless.  Vince Young is only good for rushing yards/TD's but will be frequenting the waiver wire's.
