If any of you people play it, give me a brief description of your faction and how it is doing financially and politically.

What about the Senate? Is it giving you a hard time?

Got any good strategies for the battlefield? REALLY good ones?

Don't you just hate chariots and elephants (that is when you're on the front end of the elephant)?

  1. I played that for a while, all I remember was conquering everything.

Have a good front line and some archers.  Then come in from the sides with faster units, like calvary ect...  Good strategy for any total war game.

  2. And this has WHAT to do with anthropology? Don't you want to be in the games section Missy?

  3. Hello,

I played 'Total War' and have now moved on to 'Barbarian Invasion' (in a caring, sharing way)

    I agree about elephants.

Capturing Carthage early is my usual policy.

My battlefield tactical suggestion is to move your cavalry up to a flank and charge enemy in rear.

Building ports and similar trade-boosting stuff ensures long-term  troop-building ability.

    Good luck
