  1. All 43 drivers qualify first. Then according to their starting positions, They then start picking pit stalls starting with 1st place pole position, all the way to the 43rd car starting the race. Some tracks don't have 43 pit stalls so lets say there are 42 pit stalls. Then the the 42nd and 43rd car in qualifying will share a pit stall. The car that is ahead in the race will pit first and then the other car will come in on the next lap.

  2. Based on the spot they qualify.  Get the pole and you get the first pit box.  =)

  3. its how you qualify then you get to pick first by the way you start.  jeff gordon usually picks up front because there is less cars to deal with and he does not risk getting hit by silly drivers.  I think thats a nice way to do things--pick pit stall first by the way you qualify.  i think though if qualifying gets rained out then they pick pit stalls by who has most points drivers.

  4. That is based on their qualifying position.

    1st gets the 1st pick

    2nd gets the 2nd pick

    etc

  5. Pit selection is based on qualifying.  The drivers get to choose which pit they want in the order that they qualified.  Now, if weather prohibits any qualifying, the drivers run in the order of the current standings.  Then, the 1st place driver would choose his pit first, and so on through the field.

  6. best qualifier gets first pick of pit stall

    then second  and so on

  7. It is based on how they qualify. The driver on the pole gets first pit selection and so on and so forth.

  8. By qualifying the pole sitter chooses which pit stall they want and the second, then third, etc.

  9. I agree with 48 ^....Pole sitter gets choice and on down the line.

  10. The starting line up dictates what the pit order is. The drivers choose based on starting position

  11. It is based on the position they are in when they qualify. If they qualify first, they get the first choice. If last, last choice. (although, that's not saying that they will choose the right pit box.)
