Who or what are you most in awe of / impressed by?

Surgeons, singers, pilots, politicians, soldiers? What's the most impressive thing that someone can do as far as you are concerned?

I would say a surgeon, as they are doing the most valuble thing on this earth: saving lives.

I am always impressed by anyone who is good at what they do.because they have a skill or talent which has been learned probably over a long period of time

I'm impressed at surgeons they can do anything these days, esp. the boy from Iraq who was burned, they can fix his flesh to when he is older you may not even be able to tell he was burned, god bless healer's!

I`m impressed by people who can climb (freehand-I think that`s waht you call it), jump buildings.....sheer adrenalin junkies....I think they are amazing!!

Talent. in whatever form it takes. Musical, especially,. Mind-bending guitar tends to get me (a la John Frusciante). Oh, and recklesness/ambition, extreme experimentation in the name of "just to see", like Newton sticking bodkins in his eyes or people strapping themselves to rockets to see if they can reach the heavens.

Basically someone that can see somebody putting on a brave face and knowing they are in need and without any personal gain for them self they help!

i'm very hard to impress. in fact i hardly ever am impressed. i think it's cos i think for myself and am not led by other influences.

i mean in my way of thinking everything is EASY - it's just HARDEST when the equation involves people

Not trying to be corny but my 15yr old daughter amazes me, she is so smart.  Anything that has to do with a computer is her thing.  She was born to do it.  She wants to be a computer engineer and work for NASA.  And I believe she will do it or something in that field.

Im most impressed with people who help others.LIKE today i was flipping through a magazine between classes and found that Angelina Jolie was the ONLY celeb.to give millions to different childrens organizations(There were other celebs.like Beyonce and Jay-z,Faith Hill and her man,Posh and Beckham,etc)but they did'nt say how much they gave anything but it said they spent their money on clothes,cars,etc

I hate people who make millions and millions of $$$ but DONT help others.I dont make millions and i give as much as possible.

I am impressed most by my mother! She raised me alone, works hard, is super smart, and makes sacrifices for me that only a mother would do for their child.

anybody who really cares.  does not matter to me what profession you do.  if you still care about things outside your own home and your life you really impress me.

it is all to easy in today's world to be locked up in your own affairs with little or no regard for anything outside of your own bubble.

I was always taken back by the loving parents and teachers of disabled children, the courage and love to be able to do this is overwhelming....
