I heard he has something to do with soccer but I'm not sure who or what he is.

  1. He used to broadcast Fire games but was let go by the team last season.  He has also broadcast some indoor soccer games but I think the indoor league has folded.  Tomasch often posts on soccer boards like BigSoccer and he can get very nasty.  It's surprising to me that a professional broadcaster would post meanspirited stuff like he does under his own name on the Internet.

  2. I've never been sure why he has the extra n in his first name.

  3. I saw him broadcast some pro indoor soccer on Fox Soccer Channel.  I liked FSC's other soccer broadcaster Al Pawlowski much better.

  4. I think he also used to work in the front office of the Indiana Blast, an outdoor minor league soccer team that folded a few years back.   Kenn thinks that somehow makes him an expert on how to make a soccer team succeed.  It's kind of like claiming that Custer was an expert on how to fight Indians!

  5. Kenny-boy Tomasch rules!  His attendance database is the greatest.  His insights on soccer and other sports are second to none.  I can't wait to see him on ESPN some day!

  6. He is the product of a strange, perverse society.  He is an author, a father, a son, a broadcaster, an attendance figure guy, a firebrand, and a bobblehead collector.  He is a Renaissance Man.  He has too many "n"s in his name, likes to dress like Superman, and pretends to date Jennifer Aniston.  Most of all, he knows nowhere near as much about soccer as he thinks he does, and regularly gets schooled on the soccer boards.

  7. He's a real trip.  He's an OK soccer announcer but he's obsessed with statistics especially on attendance.  He's also got a gigantic ego.  Gotta love that bobblehead collection though!

  8. He's a former soccer broadcaster for the Chicago Fire and the Major Indoor Soccer League who thinks he knows everything about soccer and other sports and hates being told that he doesn't!

  9. He used to broadcast Chicago Fire, I'm not sure if he does anymore.
