The anti-christ is exactly what it means. Opposite, enemy of Christ. Most commonly, it is 666, but some records say it is 616. When the anti-christ comes, he shall tell the worl to wear his number on their right hand or forehead. Without it, you cannot buy or sell, which means you cant buy food. You are considered then enemy of the anti-christ if you do not receive it.

the mark of the beast is the new form of currency, which shall be put on ones forehead or hand, and it will be like a credit card. there will be no more cash, only that one form of payment, or so the bible says. the series of numbers on each person will add up the number 666, the same way are modern credit cards add up to a specific number. when they decide that there is only going to be those numbers and nothing else, then the government will give it to you, and if you dont get it, you will be thrown in jail or killed or something like that because of the abusive government. by not getting it, your not excepting the treachery of the government that will  supposedly exist in the future. the anti-Christ will be he leader of this government, which will be in control of every nation in the world. everyone will love him and respect hi except the Christians, who will be able to identify him by his actions, like uniting the world under one government. or so they say.

The no. 666 or as later established 616 comes from the Hebrew numerology of letters. The passage was really refering to the Emperor Nero and the dominant Roman Empire of the time.

First off the real Anti-Christ is a man that start showing people great wonder list something they would expect Christ to do... But this person really serves Satan... And one day this man receives a wound to the head that was delivered by someone the bible does not say if it was a man or a woman... And after this this Anti-Christ was so badly wounded he recover in ways that is not possible for a man to do.. And he recovers because he is really possessed by Satan and the people are un-aware of this situation.... And then things start going south from that point on... And the world starts using one special type of money and in order to do business in this world or to even shop and buy food one has to have a mark on the hands or forehead to be able to do any kind of business in this up coming world and those that do not have this mark are suppose to be pushed out and away by those that do bare the mark.... And than soon the real wars of wars start.. And that will be a battle where if it was not for God no flesh would be left alive on this planet...... Now this anti-Christ is either from Europe or the Middle East or Asia... But the Catholic Church is suppose to be his greatest supporter.............
